I didn't set out to build another beard company...

I set out to create products I could be proud to put my name on.

THE BEGINNING

I didn’t wake up one day planning to start a beard company.

I was simply tired of spending money on products that either stopped feeling worth the price, were difficult to keep in stock, or didn’t give my beard the results I was looking for.

So I started researching ingredients and learning how beard products were actually made.

At first, I was just trying to solve my own problem.

But the more I learned, the more serious I became about building products that felt lightweight, performed well, and were made with ingredients chosen for a reason.

Some formulas worked.

A lot of them didn’t.

But every failed batch taught me something, and eventually those experiments became High Desert Grooming Co.

What started as a personal solution became something I wanted to share with other men.

High Desert Grooming started with beard care, but I want what we're building to mean more than that.

New Mexico is home. As High Desert Grooming grows, I want to use the platform we're building to shine a light on the makers, artists, entrepreneurs, and small businesses creating something of their own right here in our state.

That's why I created High Desert Makers, a place to share their stories, introduce people to their work, and celebrate the people creating something special across New Mexico.

I'm building this business too. I know what it's like to start small, figure things out as you go, and hope people eventually notice what you're creating.

My goal isn't just to see High Desert Grooming succeed. I want to see the community around us succeed, too.
